Why did I choose a career in sales:
I got a taste for it working part time in retail whilst at Uni. I won every incentive, and it suddenly clicked that a job where my extreme competitiveness and drive could be put to good use would be a great fit!

Favourite thing about working at Flourish:
I have to pick a couple: Firstly, working with a team of talented, motivated individuals each day who bring high energy, fun and creativity to the workplace – we do this brilliantly at Flourish. For the biggest dopamine hit, nothing beats making a job offer to a candidate and tangibly changing people’s lives through opportunity.

Why did you choose a sales career:
Post university, the theme was to ‘just get on a grad scheme’ but being from a humanities background, the options that offered great progression and earning potential weren’t easily laid out. I enjoy solving problems, having variety in work and being rewarded for generating results – sales and recruitment offers this.

Have my own business doing something but had no idea what

Favourite thing about working at Flourish:
Being rewarded for the effort you put in and working with some of the best people in the industry and of course the money when a deal comes in!

Why did I choose a career in sales:
To be honest I kind of just fell into it after uni when a recruiter contacted me. The next day I went to meet Jonathan and Sam Field and was offered the job. Since then, I haven’t looked back and couldn’t see myself doing anything else.

Favourite thing about working at Flourish:
Supporting the candidates during their job search. At Flourish we are prioritize attitude over academics so for me, it’s great to get to know what motivates the candidates and how we can support them in finding a company and role that priorities their success and seeing what they accomplish in their careers.

Why did I choose a career in sales:
I had always worked in customer facing roles and loved the interaction with people, so business to business sales was a good fit for me. Particularly working with candidates and clients to understand how I can support them.

I chose a career in sales as it provided the opportunity to build relationships and grow a client base alongside my professional network. The commission that follows is also a bonus!

Favourite thing about working at Flourish:
My favourite thing about working at Flourish is the opportunity to potentially ‘change someone’s life’ by placing them in a role. I absolutely love getting to know each and every candidate and having the opportunity to coach them and share on my own experience working in sales. I also love my team!!!

Why did I choose a career in sales:
I chose a sales career because I really believe that sales is a necessary skill for every aspect in life – if you can master sales, you have a very good foundation for pretty much anything after that. I also love the idea of ‘being my own boss’ and I believe that sales can give you that.

Dream job as a child:
I wanted to be a firefighter because I wanted to help people, and I thought it was really cool. Fireman Sam was also one of my favourite cartoons.

Favourite thing about working at Flourish:
I really enjoy the team we’ve built, and I feel like we have a great culture both inside the office and out. My favourite aspect about my role is building relationships with clients to find a need that we can provide a solution for. I get a real sense of satisfaction when I win a deal and know that I’ve helped support a client. Ultimately, being able to give a good client experience results in repeat business, which is beneficial for Flourish and for our clients.

Why did I choose a career in sales:
I chose a career in sales mainly because of the progression opportunities it has and the ability to make commission on top of a basic salary. I also like to build rapport with people, which is a key skill you need in sales, so it felt like a natural fit for me.

Favourite thing about working at Flourish:
I am very passionate about offering a platform where we don’t screen on academics or experience, but attitude and potential. As I am an advocate myself of being a non-grad and just needed someone to give me an opportunity to prove myself! I love that at Flourish I am empowered to be unapologetically myself and have a platform to be authentic and creative. Being surrounded by an amazing support network that champion me every day.

Why did I choose a career in sales:
I thrive in a competitive, fast paced environment. I am motivated by rewards, recognition and incentives. I have a passion for meeting new people and love networking. It also allows me to earn so much more than any other industry to work towards my personal life goals!

Favourite thing about working at Flourish:
Getting to meet and talk to new people every day, and the feeling of accomplishment when I get a meeting booked or deal closed. Also having the opportunity to win incentives and being part of a high energy team.

Why did I choose a career in sales:
I knew after I finished school, I wanted to dive straight into a role where I could take control of my own earnings through getting commission, therefore I was immediately attracted to sales and being part of a target-based environment. I also wanted a role where no day is the same which keeps me on my toes
